On Fraueninsel at Lake Chiemsee, women from different stages of academic careers, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to professors, came together for two inspiring days of exchange, networking, and learning. Participants from various research networks, institutions, and locations shared their experiences, perspectives, and insights from their individual career paths.

Building on the success of our previous retreat, we were delighted to welcome two experienced coaches: Dr. Anne Schreiter (Berlin) and Olena Semko (Munich)
Both led interactive workshops focused on strengthening confidence, agency, and professional presence.
We were also pleased to host Dr. Erika Tassano, Principal Scientist at Novartis (Switzerland) and industry partner of IDK-PEC. She join us for a Q&A session on careers in industry and participated in the workshops.
The combination of inspiring conversations, valuable exchanges, and the unique surroundings of Fraueninsel made the meeting a memorable experience for all participants.
