Third PI-Only Retreat in Waldsassen

Two days in the beautiful Zisterzienserinnen Abtei Waldsassen allowed the PIs of the CRC to share their latest research with each other. Besides the successful scientific discussions the abbey library dating back towards the 15th century was visited. We were very happy to welcome Dr. Corinna Hess, Dr. Julia Westermayr and Dr. Christopher Stein, as guest speakers who gave valuable insights into their work on transition metal photoredox chemistry, machine learning and theoretical chemistry.
