The first meeting of the year took place in Scheyern, a beautiful place in Bavaria. Together with talks by our Graduates, the first day started with a workshop by Prof. Jens Bredenbeck from Frankfurt. We also learned a lot about hidden figures in science. Anna Tiefel (Group of Prof. Breder) gave us a good overview of this interesting topic.
The next day we started our scientific program with the lecture of our guest Jens Bredenbeck, who reported on his current research.
It was a great opportunity to meet in this unique place with a monastic atmosphere and to intensify scientific discussions and collaborations.
