Girls aged 11 to 18 have the opportunity to gain exciting insights into various STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
The CRC 325 participated with a three-day course for female students aged 16 to 18. The program included interesting lectures on the basics of photochemistry, laboratory work, and photochemical experiments. The aim was to teach the participants about the potential of light as an energy source.
During the joint lunch with the coordinator, the PhD students of CRC 325, and PI Cathleen Zeymer, the students had the opportunity to get information and ask questions about their studies, CRC 325, and photochemistry.
In addition to the technical content, the students also learned about student life and the opportunities offered by studying chemistry and pursuing a doctorate—in particular, how CRC 325 can support them on this path.
